If you have some crypto laying around for Ukraine, you can read in this post how to donate it. We assume that you already own crypto and that it stored on an exchange or in a wallet.
Official wallet addresses of Ukraine:
- BTC: 357a3So9CbsNfBBgFYACGvxxS6tMaDoa1P (source)
- ETH and USDT (ERC-20): 0x165CD37b4C644C2921454429E7F9358d18A45e14 (source)
- USDT (TRC20 NOTE: TRON NETWORK): TEFccmfQ38cZS1DTZVhsxKVDckA8Y6VfCy (source)
At the moment it is cheapest to send USDT using the Tron network (TRC20). However, keep in mind that not all wallets and exchanges support this. If the Tron network is not explicitly indicated, it is often not supported.
Donate crypto from your wallet
There are many different types of wallets, but this tutorial will match almost all wallets. It is important to know that every coin has its own wallet (Bitcoin and Ethereum).
- Open your Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet
- Look for a button that says Send
- Indicate how much Bitcoin or Ethereum you want to send
- Important step: Depending on the chosen currency, you choose the wallet address. Verify that the address matches with the official post of Ukraine.
- If you are going to send Bitcoin, you choose the Bitcoin address.
- If you are going to send Ethereum, you choose the Ethereum address.
- If you are going to send USDT on the Ethereum network (ERC20), you choose the Ethereum address.
- If you are going to send USDT on the Tron network (TRC20), choose the Tron address.
- Paste the correct address in the receiving address field. Please note: if you make a mistake here, your donation will not arrive and you will lose the money.
- Click Send
Donate crypto from an exchange
Again, there are a lot of exchanges, but this process is almost the same everywhere.
- Open your Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet
- Look for a button that says Withdrawal/Withdraw

- If you can’t choose a network with USDT, this is often ERC20.

- Paste the correct address in the receiving address field. Please note: if you make a mistake here, your donation will not arrive and you will lose the money.
- Click Withdraw/Withdrawal.
Don’t own crypto to donate
Don’t have crypto to donate, but you do want to help? There are a lot of governments and companies that accept donations in your own fiat currency. Just search for Ukraine donation in the search engine. Choose something from your local government or a big company like UNICEF.
If you want to donate with crypto, you can also do this by creating an account at an exchange. See here how to buy crypto on Bitvavo or here how to buy crypto on Binance. At the moment, Ukraine accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT.
