Amazon Prime turns Razzlekhan Bitfinex hack into movie and US sells her stolen Bitcoin

This week, it is possible we’ll be noting a new price record for Bitcoin almost every day. FOMO ensures that no one wants to miss anything and so the largest digital currency continues to rise steadily. Last night a price of $68,000 for one Bitcoin was achieved, so that all-time record of $69,000 is not too far away.
The US government sold $922 million worth of Bitcoins last week (they should have waited until this week of course) for an average price of $60,000 and moved the proceeds to 2 separate crypto wallets. The money came from the infamous 2016 Bitfinex hack, also known as the 4 billion dollar heist by rap star Razzlekhan.

Even though Netflix has a documentary in the works about the case, Amazon Prime is willing to go one step further and is starting a movie about the mega hack.
Bitfinex hack by Razzlekhan
Back in 2022 we weren’t all too happy about the price of Bitcoin, but were very amused with the arrest of the famous Bitfinex hackers, Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Rhiannon Morgan. The young couple from New York, who stole some 4 billion (yes, you read that correctly) dollar worth of Bitcoin during the famous Bitfinex hack in 2016, led a very unusual lifestyle.
Heather had used part of the money to finance her rapper career. However, even with all those fake reviews, she still didn’t manage to become successful. All this while her ‘Versace Bedouin’ is still soaring on crypto’s social media.
The two were eventually arrested because they had bought too many gift cards with the proceeds of their crypto hack. Heather used her own New York address as the delivery address for the Walmart gift cards. The majority of Bitcoins never left the crypto wallet to which they had moved the stolen money though.
The US government seized those Bitcoins, which have only increased in value since then, and is now selling some of them.
Amazon film
Netflix already had a documentary about Razzlekhan in the works, featuring Emily in Paris star Lilly Collins. Now Amazon Prime is taking the story even further.
Amazon’s streaming service has a big budget to make a real Hollywood movie about the pair’s crypto escapades and how Heather hoped to become a real rap star.
Given the success of last year’s ‘Dumb Money’, the film about the GameStop short squeeze by Wallstreetbets, this is not too surprising. Razzlekhan’s film is sure to be a hit, both for that ‘Versace Bedouin’ and for crypto.
