American Bitcoin Millionaire Found Dead Week After Disappearance
Last Updated on 6 November 2023 by CryptoTips.eu
The body of a crypto millionaire was found this week in a lake in Arkansas, a good 30 kilometers from his car. 49-year-old doctor John Forsyth was found dead some 10 days after his disappearance with an obvious gunshot wound to his body. The only thing that is known about the man is that he founded a crypto company with his brother and became a millionaire because of it. No one has a clue as to why he was murdered.
First South-Korea, now United States
Some three weeks ago, the South Korean parliament was in turmoil and crypto laws had to be voted very quickly. That urgency came after a woman who made millions from crypto investments was kidnapped and then tortured until she died. The criminals were clearly after her Bitcoins. The events took place in the famed Gangnam district.
This time the story is set in the United States where virtually every major newspaper (USA Today, CNN, the New York Post, etc.) reported the incident. Dr. John Forsyth, disappeared nine days ago from the hospital in Missouri where he worked. His fiancée reported the disappearance (he had proposed to her three days earlier).

"Many times he mentioned he might be in danger. In Feb 22, Forsyth was kidnapped, then released per brother.”

The man’s car was found near a lake in Arkansas. In the Infinity, the police found his car keys, his passport, his wallet and two phones.
The 49-year-old doctor founded the ONFO crypto website in 2020, which allowed users of the site to earn crypto coins by referring others to the platform, which is called “network mining”. At the end of that year, he was named a “Bitcoin millionaire” by Forbes magazine.
Forsyth thus becomes the next on a long list of mysterious crypto deaths this year.
Cash App
Back in April there was the mysterious killing of Bob Lee, stabbed to death in San Francisco. The man had become rich with the well-known Cash App and had recently founded a crypto company called MobileCoin.
Very sorry to hear that. Many people I know have been severely assaulted.

Violent crime in SF is horrific and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately.
Is the city taking stronger action to incarcerate repeat violent offenders @BrookeJenkinsSF?
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla also reacted to Lee’s death, saying that San Francisco had become very unsafe in the past few years.
