After establishing centers in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Binance has now opened a customer service centre in Turkey where crypto usage is exploding as Turks are dealing with record inflation and economic hardship.

Meanwhile Apecoin soared 50% at a certain point on Wednesday as news of possible Metaverse land offerings for coin holders was launched.

Binance in Turkey

Binance wants to be “more present” for its many clients in Turkey with a new customer service model. The cryptocurrency exchange wants to experiment with a new tool to satisfy, but also secure its growing customer base in the Middle East.

Binance has set its sights on Turkey to launch its customer service center there. Prone to double-digit inflation, Turkey is particularly fond (out of necessity) of Bitcoin and other crypto coins.

The exchange opened a branch in the country about 2 years ago already. Customers residing in Turkey will now be able to benefit from a new support service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via the Binance app.

The company will use this application to interact directly with Turkish users. It thus hopes to improve on the one hand the customer experience it offers, and on the other hand to fight more effectively against scams.

Apecoin soars on Metaverse rumor

Apecoin, the crypto coin created by those owning Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs, has seen increased interest ever since 18 April. That is because there is a rumor circulating across several global social media platforms that owners of the coins could receive virtual lands on the highly anticipated Yuga Labs “Otherside” metaverse platform.

Yesterday alone, ApeCoin soared some 50% in a day at a certain point. We repeat that this is based on a rumor at this moment and not confirmed. Always do your own research.
