Bitcoin beats Donald Trump in the USA
Last Updated on 6 November 2023 by CryptoTips.eu
Americans are increasingly searching the internet for updated information about Bitcoin. The search term has now become so popular that it is consistently number one as the most searched term in most major states. In the last 30 days, only one person topped Bitcoin as the most searched term on two days only and that was former President Donald Trump.

Google trends
American interest in crypto continues to rise, especially when the media announced that Bitcoin did so well in terms of investment return in the first quarter of this year. Looking at Google trending data for the last 30 days, Bitcoin was searched more times than Donald Trump (even though the latter was due to appear in a court in Manhattan).
The entire US top 5 of the previous 30 days looks like this: the number one spot was for Bitcoin on 28 of the 30 days. In second place was Donald Trump (who has consistently labeled Bitcoin a “crime against the dollar”) who held the first place on only two days, April 4 and 5.
Third place was for the term ‘breaking news’ with Elvis Presley and Disney World completing the top 5.

Why is Bitcoin rising
Google Trends data also shows that Americans are not only searching for Bitcoin, but also for ‘why is Bitcoin rising’ and ‘how can I mine Bitcoin’.
Yesterday, the search term ‘Bitcoin’ finally reached the highest Google trends score of 100. That is mainly because Bitcoin price crossed the $30,000 mark, or a gain of some 75% since the beginning of 2023.
