There is a high probability that Cardano will be listed on Coinbase in the fourth quarter. This news comes directly from the company behind Cardano’s development, IOHK. The company signed the Custody agreement yesterday.

Adding ADA to Coinbase allows users to stake Cardano using Coinbase custody. This is a long-awaited feature and ADA holders will receive their first rewards from August 18.

A listing on Coinbase is often accompanied by a price rise, but we have to wait a few months before that. Cardano does not seem to be stopping in recent days, after announcing the start of the new Shelley upgrade.

The Shelley upgrade is only phase 2 of the 5 of all planned Cardano upgrades. So there is still a lot in the pipeline for this project and the company says we can expect more announcements before the end of 2020.

The Cardano price

Cardano’s price is skyrocketing with an increase of 5.13% based over the past 24 hours. At the time of writing, Cardano is trading at € 0,08844 ($ 0.09946) with a slight decrease of -1.02% in the past hour. Last week the price rose by more than 23% and on a monthly basis this was almost 14%. Cardano fought hard for position 8 based on market capitalization and eventually captured it from Binance Coin.
