Dogecoin Spins ‘Round The Mulberry Bush’ After Musk CEO Poll
Last Updated on 4 March 2024 by CryptoTips.eu
Tesla boss Elon Musk asked his 120 million followers on Twitter earlier this week whether he should stay on as CEO of the social media platform as criticism of his methods as boss mounts. Dogecoin, which bet on crypto integration into Twitter, plummeted after it emerged that a majority of Twitter users thought he should resign.
Legendary trader Peter Brandt then made a new analysis of the latest Dogecoin chart.
Vox populi
Elon Musk received a lot of criticism for his approach as the new Twitter boss. Even though the social media platform now has more users than ever, there are fewer advertisers and Musk is accused of acting quite authoritarian.
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, who along with Musk is on Dogecoin’s advisory board, said that the Tesla boss was not doing very well with Twitter.
Acting "quickly and decisively in response to catalysts" when the action in question is banning things is the path to authoritarianism.

Musk listened to all the criticism and promptly organized a poll that he promised to follow. After all, the man lives according to the principle: vox populi, vox Dei, or the voice of the people is the voice of God.
Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.

Mulberry bush
Dogecoin promptly fell when Musk lost the poll, and since CNBC is now reporting that they are indeed looking for a new CEO, it seems that there is no immediate improvement for the ultimate memecoin. Overnight, Musk himself confirmed the news.
I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

Peter Brandt, the legendary trader, therefore looked at Dogecoin’s chart and said that the digital currency was spinning ’round the mulberry bush’ (a well-known British nursery rhyme).

In other words, Brandt thinks Dogecoin will end up where it started before Musk began as Twitter CEO.
