By now, the US presidential elections are dominating almost all aspects of the news, including crypto. This week, Elon Musk had to deny that he has spoken to Donald Trump about crypto, after news leaked that Musk might be part of a future Trump cabinet.
On the broader altcoin market, the rise of Notcoin, the “in-game” coin of the Toncoin blockchain, was particularly noticeable. The newer, small cryptocurrency is rising in popularity, climbing as much as 150% higher this week.
Musk and Trump
After rumors surfaced that Donald Trump wanted to ask Elon Musk to be part of his future White House team if he wins the election in November, several politically related memecoins quickly rose.
Pretty sure I’ve never discussed crypto with Trump, although I am generally in favor of things that shift power from government to the people, which crypto can do

Elon Musk is known to be a major crypto fan, which is why some crypto fans speculated that his presence in a Republican cabinet would be very bullish for digital currencies
“Pretty sure I’ve never discussed crypto with Trump, although I am generally in favor of things that shift power from government to the people, which crypto can do,” Musk stated on X in response.
Notcoin 150% hoger in één week
Notcoin, the in-game coin of the Toncoin blockchain (sounds complicated but it isn’t), is rising spectacularly and has reached the top 75 of CoinMarketCap.
After the airdrop of Notcoin earlier this month, the price fell, but in the meantime all that loss has been erased and the small new altcoin is rising again. Users can earn Notcoins by tapping their phone screen with their finger, which is why this coin is coming with a whole new crowd of crypto fans.
