Gold Bug Peter Schiff Mocked As Own Son Goes 100% Into Bitcoin
Last Updated on 23 March 2021 by CryptoTips.eu
Eternal gold bug Peter Schiff was ridiculed by the cryptosphere yesterday after he admitted that his own son invested 100% into Bitcoin after it briefly traded under $50k last week.
Schiff, who for years has claimed Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, has recently changed his tune a bit and now admits that some investors are preferring crypto over his beloved gold.
It was Anthony Pompliano who started the rout by saying that:
At least someone in your family is growing their wealth this year.
Astonishingly enough, gold is down in 2021 after which a whopping 5,000 other people also commented on Schiff’s latest admission.
My son @SpencerKSchiff went all in on #Bitcoin on the last drop below $50k. 100% of his portfolio is now in Bitcoin. He sold the last of his #silver stocks to raise the cash. If my own son is this brainwashed imagine how vulnerable most kids are. He's HODLing to infinity or bust.

The man who has been touting gold for years had admitted:
My son Spencer K Schiff went all in on Bitcoin on the last drop below $50k. 100% of his portfolio is now in Bitcoin. He sold the last of his silver stocks to raise the cash. If my own son is this brainwashed imagine how vulnerable most kids are. He’s HODLing to infinity or bust.
Dorsey follow
It would appear that the decision by his own son to go all into crypto came after none other than Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, decided to follow the account of Spencer.
Father Schiff claimed:
My son Spencer K Schiff’s latest Bitcoin buy resulted in a follow by Jack Dorsey. I guess that means he doesn’t have to worry about being de-platformed now. That’s still a risk for me as Jack doesn’t follow me. Will Spencer beat me to verification? At least I still have more followers.
Peter Schiff has learned to cope with the infinite trolling from the cryptosphere. In fact, his anti-Bitcoin stance and the great number of comments he always gets have made him the second most influential cryptosphere celebrity last year, just behind Pompliano.
