Just as Bitcoin begins new week in positive mood, Kamala Harris promises to safeguard crypto

Bitcoin jumped up on Monday, briefly touching $66,000 in a sign that has investors hopeful that ‘uptober’ could finally kick off. Beijing’s claim that further stimulus will be forthcoming for the Chinese economy is of course what investors are really waiting for in order for stocks and crypto markets to surge.

Meanwhile, in a last-ditch effort to win back African-American voters, presidential candidate Kamala Harris finally started talking about crypto yesterday.
China stimulus
Bitcoin briefly jumped to $65k on Monday and investors immediately hoped that this was the moment when ‘uptober’ would really begin. After all, the first half of October was quite flat for Bitcoin traders.
To get a new boost, Bitcoin has to hope for geopolitical signs from the Middle East (a reduction in aggression between Hezbollah and Israel for example) and economic stimulus from China. The government in Beijing promised last weekend to do more to support the sluggish Chinese economy, but did not mention specific figures or dates.
Kamala and crypto
As 20% of African-American men in the United States tend to invest in digital currencies, and as that is precisely the part of the voters that Kamala Harris needs to win back, the Democratic presidential candidate finally started talking about crypto on Monday (Trump has long realized that crypto is popular with American voters).
Kamala Harris unveiled new policy proposals aimed at Black men which includes:

-providing a million loans to Black entrepreneurs
-creating more Black male mentor programs
-a health initiative for diseases like prostate cancer
-protecting crypto assets https://t.co/pAx3W9IoiB
Will Bitcoin become a talking point in the last three weeks before the American presidential election?
