Mark Cuban Goes Full Crypto: ETH, BTC, DOGE and AAVE
Last Updated on 8 February 2021 by CryptoTips.eu
It seems like ages ago that Mark Cuban said he preferred a banana over a Bitcoin (apparently because he could eat a banana and didn’t really see what you could buy with a Bitcoin).
At the start of 2021, the Shark Tank star has truly gone full crypto. His preferred coins seem to be Ether, Dogecoin (of course) and Aave.
We explain.
Presidential Run
Cuban is an important voice in US media when it comes to investing, mainly because he has supporters both on the side of Republicans and Democrats, and is considered the only television star who could easily make a run for the 2024 presidency if he wanted to.
He has even teased doing so and said that if Bitcoin hit a value of a $1 million, he would run. We think that’s a long shot, but the NBA team owner sure has changed his mind as of late.

Last week he organized an AMA (ask me anything) on the Reddit forum WallStreetBets recognizing that they are an important voice in finance and investment.
The Redditors duly responded and appreciated that Cuban shared his time and wisdom with them.
Staking AAVE
The newness of NFT art has got him hooked as of late, and Mark is promising fans to send them a personalized video in exchange for Ethereum. In his latest ad, he stated:
What’s better than Cameo? A personalized, tokenized video that you can save or sell! Check it out!
Cuban’s crypto wallet address was recently revealed by accident during an NFT sale, and there it seems that the Dallas Mavericks owner is mostly interested in staking AAVE. You can see his Ethereum wallet here.
He has even doubled his Aave staking a few days ago (he had 450 AAVE and now added 497 AAVE), his holdings are now over $500k.
Doge or Lottery Ticket
Asked about the Doge craziness that is sweeping celebrity-mad USA, he told a fan on Twitter last week that:
If I had to choose between buying a lottery ticket and Dogecoin …..I would buy Dogecoin. But please dont ask me to choose between it and anything else.

He’s clearly not making that banana remark mistake again.
