Rappers and crypto, it is and remains a weird combination. However, the clear love of all things bling-bling for American rappers means that some of them from time to time do launch their own crypto coins as well. We just had hoped that this particular one could have gotten a better marketing team together in order to provide him with possible names.

Gazzy Garcia, a 20-year-old rapper known professionally as Lil Pump, is one of the most prominent members of the SoundCloud rap scene. He is taking advantage of his fame by launching his own cryptocoin which is named: PumpCoin.

Call of Duty

Given that a pump and dump scheme is a known scam in the cryptosphere, we might suggest he go with some other name.

Be that as it may, Lil Pump is cooperating with the company Fyooz who are promoting this new crypto by saying that it will go up as the success of the rapper does.

Anyone who buys into it:

Will have an opportunity to play Call of Duty or NBA 2k21 live and 1:1 with Lil Pump.

Together, Fyooz and artists are setting the stage for the mainstream adoption of digital assets, as fans globally flock to own a little piece of everyone they love, in a token.

The singer is best known for his hit Gucci gang and I love it with Kanye West. I myself am not a fan of all things rap (or Call of Duty for that matter), but do wish him all the best with this new venture.

The more people on the crypto-scene, the merrier of course. Just last week, raster Megan Thee Stallion already gave away 1 million $ in free Bitcoin to her fans. In the summer of 2020 Akon announced to launch his own Akoin.

Do we see a trend starting here? Wait till Kanye develops his coin I guess.
