Never a good idea to enrage a whole social community, especially if that community stands behind their crypto coin as one man. We didn’t get too many loving emails or reactions last week when we predicted that Shiba Inu was in for a tough few days (which indeed came true), but that must be nothing compared to what platforms like Kraken and Robinhood have had to endure.

Kraken caused an uproar in the crypto community by breaking their promise to list the Shiba Inu coin on their platform in exchange for a few likes.

The SHIB community expressed its outrage overwhelmingly on Twitter.

A simple bluff?

On November 1, 2021, Kraken announced in a tweet that it would list Shiba Inu on its platform if the post received 2,000 likes in the next 24 hours. Although this condition was quickly met, it appears that the platform has yet to keep its promise.

As of November 8, 2021, Shiba Inu still hasn’t entered the Kraken platform.

Kraken explained that the platform had “heard loud and clear!” the community, but that the stock market still had “work to do with it as we move forward with our listing review process.” They did not give a date for a possible listing of Shiba Inu.

Robinhood meanwhile is being pushed via a petition, which has reached well over half a million signatures by now, to list the coin as well.

Analysts agree that given the fact that many supporters had expected both Kraken and Robinhood to list the coin in November, it could potentially be very bad for Shiba Inu if it doesn’t happen.
