The history of Terra blockchain and its native coin has been quite shaky. Its recent crash caused a widespread bearish trend in almost all cryptos, even BTC. So, will the price reach $50 by 2030?

Or will this crypto seize to exist entirely in the next few months? Well, let’s find out.

Terra blockchain was founded back in 2019 to help host decentralized apps. Within less than a year since the launch of this blockchain, Do Kwon and Daniel Shin launched UST and LUNA. UST was designed and backed by LUNA. Terraform Labs raised close to $58 million from several investors, including Hashed, Pantera Capital and Galaxy Digital.

We all know that TerraUSD was pegged to LUNA. But now, this was the conflict. The fact that LUNA isn’t gold affected UST’s prices. That led to the collapse of this entire system. And this collapse was massive. Even someone with vague information about cryptocurrencies already knows about the TerraLUNA collapse and how it impacted the whole crypto world.

LUNA ranked as one of the market’s top performers, taking a top 10 position in market value by the end of 2021. As Bloomberg pointed out, the crypto market lost around $45 billion within less than a week, thanks to TerraLUNA. It was a complete bloodbath. Thousands of investors lost a considerable chunk of their investment thanks to this mishap.

So, will this crypto reach $50 by 2030?

Before we get to analyzing this coin’s price action, you should understand that market projections vary from one analyst to the other. And with that in mind, you should always try to do your own market analysis and trade according to your own research.

By the end of May 2020, LUNA was around $19 but quickly dropped to $2.18 within the next few months. More importantly, its market cap isn’t as high as before but now oscillates within $200 to $300 million.

Top analysts claim that LUNA will soon oscillate from $7 to $8. And by 2030, according to Changelly’s blog post, we could be looking at $50. That’s a significant increase. Other experts also believe that this coin could go all the way up to $1000 by 2028. Anyway, we’ve likely not seen the last of these coins.
