Last Updated on 12 August 2022 by CryptoTips.eu
Normally crypto winter is said to last between six to eighteen months. However, as US inflation has passed it’s peak (at least according to Elon Musk), several major US media outlets now believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum’s wintery moments are over and things will go up again. An overview.
Bottom is in
Time magazine believes that the bottom of the crypto market has been set and that ‘bitcoin and ethereum prices are looking up’.
They quote several experts like Scott Sheridan, CEO of brokerage firm Tastyworks who does preach some sense of security, saying that:
If you start seeing the market give up some of the recent gains, you’ll probably see something similar in crypto.

Their summary states that crypto will remain volatile in the foreseeable future and that investors in Bitcoin and Ethereum should be focusing on the long term potential of both digital currencies.
Crypto winter
CNN Business is far more bullish, stating that the crypto winter could be over and that Bitcoin prices have stabilized as we see “every move down is immediately met with large orders” for buying from big institutional investors.
CNBC also talks about the end of crypto winter, and points to a new ETF launched by Charles Schwab, purely focused on crypto. They concluded that Bitcoin is showing signs of strength.
A positive end of summer then?
