One of the big political questions of 2022 is whether former US President Donald Trump will be able to influence the midterm elections and be a kingmaker to several of his political allies seeking a place in congress or the senate. Trump had the world’s ear via Facebook and (mostly) Twitter, but both those social media sites have banned him since.

His wife Melania has not been met with such a ban though, but she’s using her social media accounts for something else, namely selling NFT images of herself taken during her time in the White House.

After a first NFT collection called “Melania’s Vision”, it is once again on the Solana blockchain that the former first lady is offering an auction whose price is to be paid in crypto.

Announced on its official website, this new series will be entitled the “Head of State Collection”. It will feature two physical objects, a white hat worn by Melania Trump during Emmanuel Macron’s official visit to the United States in April 2018, as well as a watercolor drawing of her.

The 3rd object will be digital, since it will be a non-fungible token version of the aforementioned watercolor. The whole thing will be put at a starting price equivalent to 250,000 dollars in SOL, which is currently just over 1,415 SOL.

Given that Donald is still riding high in the popularity polls in the US, it is no wonder that Melania is cashing in on the NFT craze now.
