The history of Enjins’s price

Enjin is a Singapore based company which was established in 2009. The company has the largest online gaming community. It was started in 2009 and in the beginning years, it didn’t receive that much appreciation. With the advent of time, the company started to grow and received almost 60 million views per month. This led to millions of US dollar transactions every month.

In 2017, the company decided to hold an ICO (Initial Coin Offering: a fundraising campaign for a new cryptocurrency) in which they raised approximately $35 million in the public and private rounds. The team spent the last quarter of 2017 building the mobile smart wallet, platform API, and Java SDK along with a Microsoft plugin.

The trading of the Enjin had a fairly predictable run since its launch in November 2017. It had a huge run-up in December 2017 and early January 2018, before falling throughout 2018 to its current price. News in South Korea reported the partnership between Enjin and Samsung, on first Friday of March 2019. It was later officially announced by the company itself. By this partnership Enjin integrated its technologies into the Galaxy S10 models. That’s why, when Samsung presented S10 at the MCW Barcelona and showcased the Blockchain Keystore feature on the phone, it created a major media buzz and the price of the coin began to surge.

In late 2019, the partnership of Enjin with Microsoft proves the biggest catalyst for Enjin’s bull run. As Microsoft is basically the largest technological colossal in the world, so this partnership allows the investors to boost their confidence on Enjin. The company presented a reward system called Azure Heroes, using the new and fun way to earn Digital collectibles.

Also, back in 2018, Enjin and Ubisoft got into partnership as a part of the Blockchain Game Alliance. Enjin has set up partnerships with several other companies such as PC Gamer, Unity, Arena Match, Hash port, Bancor, Changelly, NRG eSports, and a few others which can provide a good contribution into the project’s success.

Despite all the misfortunes that the world has faced during 2020, Enjin saw an excellent growth rate. During the first two months of 2020, Enjin’s price remains pretty similar to that of the other coins, with small differences.

When the cryptocurrency market rises steeply in February, ENJ surged from $0.07 to $0.15 in a matter of days. The coin then dropped slightly followed by the crypto market in late February. You can see the recovery in the coin’s price at the start of March, but it stopped until the 12th of March arrived. After this the price went up and down until April, the coin hits its yearly peak, a price of $0.22, around May 28th. The all-time-high observed so far was $0,493384 on January 7, 2018.

What do you need to take into account with the Enjin price?

Enjin coin, like all other cryptocurrencies, is a risky investment, so it is not for faint-hearted investors. The price of the coin is constantly rippling back and forth. With such an impulsive and a volatile market, it is hard to predict if you’ll get a return of your investment or not. We often hear the stories of the people becoming overnight millionaires, and at the same time, of people losing thousands of dollars eager to make a quick buck.

To avoid massive losses, only invest in small portions, and keep an attentive eye on the market. But if you have a lot of assets and willing to take some risk then this field is probably interesting to explore for you. Moreover, you should be aware of frauds and hacks in this market. Buyers and sellers trade the coins online, but due to the rise in the popularity of the cryptocurrency market, some of the exchanges are fake. There are some criminals, also, that break into the crypto exchanges, target the wallets and infect people’s computers with malware. So you should take into account some of these points before getting into this market.

And, as always, never invest more money than you’re willing to lose.
